The seasons Legend X did the Voice in the spring, the ratings were amazing, and never ever went into the low 2s. Why the excuses?

Christina fans think people watch it for Christina. You should go back and see Shakira and Usher's first season's rates! They were impressive!

Let's be honest, the chemistry between X, Adam, Blake and Cee Lo are far better and funny.

But they Adam and Blake needs to rest Season 8

Legend's season 5 ratings are way bigger than both Shakira and Usher's seasons.

JT replacing Adam, and a country star replacing Blake will fit well.

Because the last time Christina did the Voice spring edition it's premiere led out of the Super Bowl, so it had a massive head start. Even still, that season ended up dipping into the low 3's toward the end, which (with the continuous downward spiral of broadcast TV in general) is only slightly above the weight a 2.4 carries nowadays. I'm not making excuses and I love Christina, I'm simply breaking down stats instead of believing flashy headlines.

Edit: 2.4 is considered "mid 2s" (2.4-2.6)

Season132452 (whatever is next Spring) should have Christina, Shakira and Gwen together with Justin Timberlake. All the girls can flirt with him and gang up on him etc... The ratings will skyrocket! And the "new king of Pop" Pitbull can take over as host too!

I swear people do the most to create something out of nothing, The Voice is still NBC's top program and one of the top ones on all of broadcast. Modern Family, Big Bang Theory, American Idol, FOX's entire lineup and many others have plummeted in the last two weeks. It's Spring, people are enjoying the fresh air.
