I know there are always threads like this here on The Lounge but South America is always paid dust on such discussions. (Asia and Africa too, I know. )
So let's discuss our favourite cities in South America. Also feel free to post pics of them. I'm gonna start the thread with the cities I consider to be the parts of the Trinity of this beautiful and iconic continent. (Edit: Now more cities added and also a poll.)
Never been to any of them, but will be in Buenos Aires, Argentina from September 2015 for half a year to improve my Spanish. So I guess that.

You're going to the best one, to be honest. I never actually lived there but I've been there twice and I absolute love it. Just beware of taxi drivers.
LOL I'm from Chile and I hate Santiago. There's so much people there, but yeah you are right that's the trinity, I think Bogota is a beautiful city too.

I agree with you, I was hoping Colombians would show up and post pics of it. And Peruvians too, I think Lima looks good.
I didn't want to make a long first post and I was hoping people would post pictures from Bogotá, Lima, Caracas... I haven't been to those cities yet. Perhaps you can help us?
