Do you speak in ebonics or in "standard" English? Welp
If not, here is a nice lesson

My mother would slap me so hard if I spoke in Ebonics. I could never pull it off either

Yes. And apparently I sound extremely "Atlanta." I get so embarrassed when it slips out at work.

Mostly I talk properly but I do sometimes slip into Ebonics, putting on an accent to show I'm joking

I always get "you speak so well", but I perceive that as "you speak so well...for a black guy". I mostly speak proper but I have tried to speak in Ebonics, back in high school, and sounded like a complete idiot instead of cool.
