-lisa cambridge, vp of marketing at zomba says the dance aspect of the album os what they will target to the international audience especially the UK. she says this will be ciara's real breakthrough overseas. she says ci is kinda a new artist overseas so most of her time will promotional stops as oppose to a formal tour.
-for promotion lisa says online they will have a limited edition digital versionof the cd. she will do the urban and reg music shows as well as daytime talk shows and late night tv.
-for promotion, lisa is also planning on partnering with mobile to offer exclusive content to different providers and executing online campaigns and contests. they will also do a second round of auditions via myspace and her official website for dancers for her next tour.
-for modeling, wilemena president sean patterson said he noticed ci recent womanish air and decided to recruit her. he said they've been talking for years but recently say an opp to market her with endorsements, image enhancing and building her as a brand.
-sean said he wants to land endorsement deals with fashion designers she hasn't heard of and beauty brands that will all fit with her image. he says he will make choices that will best fit her.
- for the movie, promo for it will start in september to coincide with the album release even though it's going straight to dvd.
Ti-Ti, don't you think it will be harder for Ciara to really break the UK? Because it seems to me that any black American star can get a few hit singles there (KELLY ROWLAND COMES TO MIND) but only a Beyonce or Rihanna can shift albums. (Again, in Rihanna's case, IN THE UK.)

I really couldn't tell you. She has never promoted herself there before. As the article says, she's pretty much a new artist internationally, we'll see.

She should have another big hit on her hands And Ace Reject Kelly Rowland goes into the category with Beyonce & Rihanna, Kelly is absouletely massive here. They treat her as her own. This is basically her second home.

I know Kelly R. is blazing hot in the UK!!! Its amazes me how well she is received there. For Ciara to see the same success she is going to have to hit the UK HARD with live performances, radio, promotions, and TV.
