Cuh-RIB-ee-un. But I use CAH-ruh-BEE-un when I'm talking patois with my grandmother

"CAH-ruh-BEE-un" is how everyone says it in England I'm pretty sure. Only heard the other one through Americans on TV.

Cuh-RIB-ee-un because that's how the people I know from the Carribean pronounce it

It's spelled Caribbean. But I pronounce it CAH-ruh-BEE-un now since that seems to be the way most islanders pronounce it. I used to pronounce it Cuh-RIB-ee-un before. I like the rhythm of that pronunciation.

Its depends on where you're from.
- Americans say Ca-ri-bbean
- West Indians typically say Cah-ruh-bbean because of their accent.

I actually preffer to pronounce the Cah rather than Cuh, it sounds more caribbean if that makes sense.
