I was in the Grammy crimes thread and some people were complaining about how Sara Bareilles doesn't have a single grammy.

Well one thing I want to point out is that both Brave AND Roar were nominated this year and for the same categories. But they lost to Royals.

Considering all the talk of them sounding alike, do you think they just cancelled each other's chances out? If Katy wasn't gonna win, I don't see how Sara was gonna win for something so similar. Royals didn't sound like anything else out there so I can see why it won.
