She is so right. The standards for female beauty are egregiously high and grossly unrealistic, and completely unfair in relation to the standards for men.

Such a shame that so many female celebrities these days perpetuate these downright hurtful standards by airbrushing every single little part of their bodies, from thigh gaps to skin tone, all in order to conform to today's beauty standards and make themselves look and seem perfect, inside and out.

At least we have one woman who's willing to take a stand against it. You go, Bey.

oh shut up, she didnt put those pressures in place, she is still a victim of societal pressure to look perfect even if she recognises it.

I don't buy the bleaching ****, but she's definitely had work done so it's not like she entirely rose above these societal pressures she's talking about. I applaud that she's trying to send this message, but she's someone who's sort of known as a neurotic perfectionist. And most of the nasti rumors about her pregnancy usually tried to implicate her in a vain plot to preserve her perfect body. All of those vile skandals aside, I nonetheless give her kudos for this movement.
