Nickelodeon doesn't have the same structure as Disney Channel, so they're not able to promote her music except for once every so often. Miranda's soundtrack for iCarly came out recently and it's doing so-so. Hasn't reached 100k yet which is expected. She was only sent for one promo appearance & a couple of signing. The first song "Leave It All To Me" did peak on the Hot 100 & she just filmed a new video for "Stay My Baby" which will be premiering on August 4th. If she was signed to Hollywood Records (affiliated with Disney) she'd have much more success, but she'll have to make do with she has.
& yeah Selena definitely deserves the most success from Selena-Miley-Demi.

Thanks for the info. In the battle of Nick versus Disney I always was a Nick girl. I used to love their shows when I was younger(pre-2002). The new stuff's okay but I'm definitely not the target audience.
I think Selena has what it takes to reach that very young part of Miley's demo and that's why I think it's smart that she's maturing somewhat(not much) musically. I'm pulling for Miley half because I like rooting for the underdog and she seems to have the cards stacked pretty high against her right now and half because I just find her amusing. I don't know what it is but I find her entertaining and her music is catchy as hell(note: I listened to the new album last week and was impressed but that was because my expectations were very low but overall I didn't think it was that great.)
