It's not flopping it's doing moderately. It deserves it's moderate success for being a mediocre movie.

Sure there's toys and **** but this is a straight up FLOP

All superhero movies are guaranteed atleast 500 mill just for being a superhero movie lol.

The movie is great and the chemistry between Andrew and Emma alone is just so pleasant to watch. Hope this ends up grossing more than the first one WW.

Honestly, box office numbers aside, I am just so glad the series got rebooted.

I hate how the movie industry goes by gross just to shove their inflated by 3D/IMAX/Inflation numbers down our throats instead of going by admissions like it's done in most of the other industries (music, book sales, DVDs etc.) and to hide the fact that admissions per capita have never been so low in developed countries (they can thank China for saving their asses).

The movie was O.K at best. In my country it debut at no.2 beaten by the Lego movie......... This movie tho will do just fine, as all spider man films do. Now waiting for the arrival of DOFP.

I loved this movie, I don't get why people hate on it. The main villain was cheesy and certain lines were cheesy, but it was very emotional. I love this version of Peter Parker and I feel he is the most "personalized" superhero out of all of them. He's not this alpha-male/stone faced/fearless/100% selfless character and they showed his flaws wonderfully. Gwen is also my favorite female side-kick out of the Superhero movies.

I think people caught in the hype of what the critics said, but it was a very enjoyable movie. It was also very emotional and I cried at the end.

i think it's time to sign Andrew up for the Avengers because that is the only way they can save the rebooted franchise tbh.
