Alicia Keys "Unbreakable". The record instantly empowered me and made me think about how important it is for me to cease the countless negative notions that people set forth for me.
Stevie Wonder "Living For The City". It takes me to a history book exploring the trials and tribulations of lower class families. It opened my eyes to things that people don't normally pay attention to on a regular basis.

Paid My Dues by Anastacia really made me feel like I shouldn't let **** get me down because I will come out of it so much stronger

Natasha Bedingfield - Unwritten
It taught me to not stop waiting for things to happen and to go out there because my life will never be written unless I do something about it.

Christina Aguilera - Beautiful
It taught me to never think about what others think just be yourself cause that person is the one thats truely amazing.

2Pac, "Brendas Got a Baby"

^ This is in no way relevant to my life, but for all three minutes and 54 seconds of this song, I'm compelled to change the world for the better. Then I go back to being me.

Personally, and recently, Bloc Party's "The Prayer" and Brand New's "Jesus Christ" have provoked me to view what I find wrong in my life from a less critical standpoint.

Some of these will be cheesey but oh well,

"Underneath The Stars" - Mariah Carey, captured an emotion I had PERFECTLY, and helped me express it to someone special.

"Through the Rain" at the hardest part in my life, it helped me find a "higher" power I guess you can say.

"Again" - Faith Evans. Helped me to realize not to live in the past with regrets, accept, and learn.

"I Turn To You- Aguilera; it just makes me feel very blessed to have certain people in my life.

There's so many more, but those are ones I thought of at the top of my head!
