Some Americans conflate the terms "race" and ethnicity. We have Latinos who are white (Cameron Diaz), of African descent (the very beautiful Zoe), of Jewish ancestry (William Levy), or a mix of several races (Michelle Rodriguez, Selena Gomez, etc).

So what do you call us? USAians? Statesians? American is an official term of citizenship, whether you know it (or like it) or not.
