The best Katy Perry songs have always performed the worst whilst her worst songs have always went on to become her biggest hits. (Excluding her first two singles + E.T., they broke the rules.)
Capitol, y'all do too much on the Music Video I watched it the inking it would be her equivalent of TEOG but I found the first part hilarious and the actual song part really funny it may be a bit long but it's actually not that bad.
It's just a bad song, a retread to her peak days, an attempt to get an easy hit. I find it so strange that a team as great as the one she has actually thought it would succeed sounding as dated and boring as it does. There are so many better options on the album to choose from.

A song being bad hasn't stopped Katy from making it go #1 before
If they hadn't gone for a funny video and failed miserably this would've smashed.
See I thought of that too but then again DH and the album are slaying so idts
Dark Horse is slaying because it's a very atypical song from KP, the urban feel makes it a biT iconic.... It seems people are starting to get sick of her standard saccharine songs. I expected the GP to eat 'Birthday' up but it seems their taste has evolved
