Her old catalogue was very well received. People were stanning for ANOM, SS and Beautiful and these are pretty much the main songs in her career that were appropriate for a jazz concert.

Her voice is better than ever!

Xtina was great. Actually a smaller crowd than Maroon 5 got last year for Jazz Fest and Clapton had last weekend, but the people that were there got some amazing vocals. Alabama Shakes surprisingly stole a lot of her crowd.

Yep! She was about 20 minutes late but played past her scheduled time to make up for it.

My only complaint was her costume changes that took about a minute or two was purely changing a hat or jacket.

How was the crowd responding? And how big/ small was it compared to other acts?

I don't think pop stars are artists that the average Jazz Fest crowds would want to see. I think she proved to them that she is more than just some pop singer now, though.

The crowd responded really well, but started to break up half way through. Just the nature of an all day festival. Eric Clapton got record numbers last weekend and Maroon 5 had a noticeably larger amount of people in the same slot last year with horrible weather. Both of them were basically zero open space where Christina had plenty of room to walk. Nothing embarrassing but not crazy packed. The festival is seven days so a lot of people are coming out for tomorrow when Bruce Springsteen and Trey Songz play at the same time so it may have hurt her.

So, it went really well, just not in a record breaking / impressive kind of way.

Given that she hasn't had a full non-private concert in years, I think it's a great start
