The iHeartRadio Music Awards brought some huge stars, from Katy Perry and Rihanna to Oscar-winner Jared Leto, but the event was really all about one woman: Hilary Duff!
The 26-year-old usually stays away from major events, but with her comeback kicking into gear with a new album and TV show on the horizon, she stepped out to let us all know that original Disney diva has returned and she means business.
Hil, who is legendary as far as modern teen idols go, took the stage to present Ariana Grande with the iHeartRadio Influencer Award (whatever that is). Naturally, being in Duff’s presence sent Grande fan-girling out of control as she accepted the trophy.
“Okay but, Hilary Duff though? Sorry, I’m dying,” she gushed.
However, the best part of the event had to be Hilary’s red carpet interview with Giuliana Rancic, where she confirmed that she’s aiming to release her new album “in the fall.”
I hope she goes to the Billboard Music Awards and present too.
