I'm still getting over the double whammy that Rhye and Quadron provided me last year. They still knock me OUT. I've not heard anything this year that is giving me the fever.
Jhené Aiko's Sail Out hit home for me. It's one of those emotional albums.
Oh, if this year, I'd have to say SZA's Z. The lore and story from behind the lyrics of the songs, and it's undertone is twisted but also relates to me.
After Matangi and Pure Heroine everything has kind of felt lackluster... But I really enjoyed St. Vincent's new album and even Nicki's stuff has been kind of serving.
