Jorts have become so notoriously compared to trailer trash, because well... the kinds they were wearing are trash. But what about modern denim cutoff shorts? They've always been acceptable for girls, but stylish ones are now trendy for guys. Pharrell has been rocking "jorts" (can we please scrap this name by the way) for years:

Fashion gurus, what do you think? Cargo shorts are obviously out, and all that leaves is fratty khaki flat front shorts, which I personally got tired of wearing because they're too dressy for everyday wear imo. Plus the leg openings are so wide, and the waist is always too loose. (And if you buy a size or two down they look like Chubbies/girl shorts) I wear slim fitting jeans because they fit my body type. Cutoff denim are much slimmer than the only other acceptable shorts for guys to be wearing right now, and I would totally rock them if I didn't think I'd be judged for it.
Like, there's examples here of what I'm talking about

And if you still say no to modern cutoffs, how would you solve my problem? Or is this not even a big deal lmao
