If some member is constantly showing hatred towards some artist, shouldn't it be ATRL duty to ban that member?
It's fine if some members shade or drag certain artists all the time. It's funny and amusing, for the most of the time and some members are here only for that.
But there has to be a limit.
It's not healthy to spend your time in the virtual world showing hatred towards an artist who doesn't even care you exist.
So shouldn't ATRL mods care about the health of their members and also why wouldn't they make their job easier?
I would honestly like some members to be banned just so they can get some fresh air, forget about their hatred and live their life !
And I know a lot of you are going to try to drag me , cause I actually did make A LOT of threads full of hatred, but I already said I was sorry and I will never again make those kind of threads, cause I finally let the light in and would like to continue my experience using civil discussion.
If a new member gets banned for 3 three times with only a few days in between the banning, then they should be permabanned. They are just trolls, and I suspect they are duplicates.
I'm assuming that you are from a younger generation (which isn't a problem) but a lot of people from that generation don't understand what hate and bullying actually is. Hate speech is treating someone or a group disparagingly based on things like race, sex, gender and sexuality. ATRL already has rules against that and already perm bans people based on hateful comments.
Artists today, like to teach their fans that any negative comment directed at them is hate. It's not the case. "I don't like such and such" "Or such and such is better than such and such" "I don't like the song writing ability of such and such" isn't at all hate. There is nothing wrong with having concise criticisms or your opinion. If artists don't like criticisms to the point of wanting it to be called "hate" they need to get out of the industry. They put their image out there for sale with the intention of mass distrubution - Criticism is and always will be part of the game.
So yeah, ATRL already does what you're suggesting with actual hate.
On the flip side, it makes me feel just as unesay watching a fan delusionally fawn over their fave to the point of reporting false achievements and not being able to see that they make mistakes and that's just as common on ATRL as "hate" and it isn't against the rules.
