Eastern U.S. more important than Western U.S.?
Just curious what ya'll think.
All of America's major shows (The Voice, Idol, Housewives, etc.) come on at 8pm EST while at 5pm on the west coast while everyone is still at work
The State of The Union address, Grammys, MTV Music Awards, Academy Awards, Sports, EVERYTHING revolves around the Eastern U.S. (Timezone).
Is the Eastern US more superior?

No, it just makes more sense because you can re-air things for the west coast.

Umm, they usually rebroadcast is to match primetime Pacific.
Everyone is migrating to the sunbelt/California btw. No one wants Winter in May.

It would be 11 PM at 8 PM for the west coast, so it just makes more sense that way haha

Girl those shows air at 8pm there and then 8pm here... they air first there because if they aired it at 8pm for the west coast first it would already be 11pm on the east coast and a chunk of the viewing audience would be asleep....
