I bought the movie at random today, cause I do that sometimes and after watching it again...

It's creepy. It's based on true events. So at the end of the movie, when we see the Silver Bridge Collapse, you read a description of how they never really found out why or how the bridge really did collapse.

All we know is about The Mothman Prophecies. If you watch the movie, it's kind of creepy but boring at the same time. I wanted to turn it off, but it was interesting/spooky at the same time.

Did this really happen? Did people really encounter this "Mothman" and hallucinate it, while hearing messages. This movie reminds me of Final Destination, but a lot more realistic, besides avoiding a wreckage and having death come after you.

Creepy stuff. Do you believe in this stuff? According to some, it's real and people have seen/heard the Mothman, but I don't know. Creepy is the right word. I'm glad I haven't experienced some type of unknown logical explanation of another force or thing yet. I hope I don't either.

I randomly went to Best Buy and remembered this movie and got it. I was though thinking of something else. But anyways...

I would find it creepy if the Mothman really did happen and foretold of tragic events, such as the Silver Bridge collapsing before it really did.

Ohhhh, and also, I watched recently the Texas Chainsaw Massacre. That is real too right? Damn, movies like these that say are based on real true events freak me out. At least the Chainsaw Massacre is explainable. A psycho manic freak goes around chainsawing people. But the Mothman? How do you explain something like this?

That movie is really interesting. It's really disturbing, there are some scenes that I can't get out of my head. The bridge collapse freaked me out, everything felt so realistic. Actually the movie is not that good and it's not my favorite or anything, but you will never forget it, because the fear you experiment from this film won't be usual.

Great movie, and yes totally scary! I think the fact that the movie is based on real events made it one of the scariest movies ive ever seen. Don't watch it alone lol

As for it being true.... hmm. It's seems very coincidential that all this happens, but maybe people used it as a way to explain what happened to the bridge collapse. But the fact that so many people have the same eyewitness description of the Mothman ...it's kinda like UFO sightings- it could all be just in your head or made up as a hoax, and i dont know if we will ever know the truth
