I've seen Beauty & the Beast, Lion King, Newsies, and videos of Little Mermaid and Aida (I really want an Aida movie!). I think Lion King is my favorite, it's such an incredible show. It feels so epic, and the live music really gets to me. I wish I'd seen Tarzan, I definitely am seeing Aladdin this summer.

I've seen Lion King and Mary Poppins and of the two I loved TLK most and it's gonna be hard to top honestly.

The lion king slays. Tarzan was a huge hit here but I though it was underwhelming. I haven't seen any others in real life but Aladdin and Newsies both looked great judging from recordings. I'm sure Mary Poppins, Aida and Beauty were good but I'm not too familiar with them. Little Mermaid looked messy, even the 'improved' European productions.

My vote goes to Lion King

They're doing Alice? I know an American production of Hunchback of Notre dame by Disney will open off-broadway soon and there have been talks about Frozen, but I've never heard anything about Alice.

At least the aesthetics will be interesting. I just don't think the plotline will be engaging. I liked the Tim Burton version but storywise it's meh.

TLK slaying lessers once again

I've never been a fan of Burton's version of Alice and I just can't see it doing well on a Broadway stage

A good book has always been a problem for Disney musicals, even when they based it on an amazing movie. I can't imagine how Burton's Alice could work out well
