I really wish people gave "Looking 4 Myself" a chance, instead of writing it off like "Here I Stand". Sure it wasn't a very consistent or cohesive album and it was very weak lyrically and theme wise overall, but it was one of his better albums through sheer vocal quality and production quality.

"Climax", "I Care for U", "Euphoria", "IFU", "Say The Words", "2nd Round" are some of his best songs in a long time imo... Instead nope, we want more dated R&B ****!!!

It really wasn't a consistent album, but it had soul and you could tell he wanted to break away from his imminent "R. Kelly 2.0" future, but yeah...

I get tired of seeing people still say L4M was a dance/pop mess. "Scream" really did kill his last era early, just like how "Moving Mountains" killed "Here I Stand". The only difference is that "Scream" traded going top 10 over proper album sales.

Did L4M ever go Gold at least? If not, that's just disgusting by Usher standards...

FYI, I liked "Scream". It was a good song. It was a poor 2nd single choice though. He definitely should've pushed "Climax" harder, it had top 10 potential, and then push something in the same vein as "Climax" like "I Care for U" and then "Euphoria" right when the album launches for Worldwide appeal.

"Scream" could've been a late 4th or 5th single. "Lemme See" could've been it's 4th/5th single counterpart. Both needed features/not Rick Ross. I just see all these different scenarios in my head as to how L4M could've been salvaged, it sadness me.

L4M will always be over looked unfortunately. I don't even think the lyrical content was bad, I actually think he's a better songwriter now like for example
People love to underestimate him but he just keeps proving them wrong. L4M passed the 5k mark a long time ago.
