Globally you're comparing a Go-kart to a Ferrari. Please get some perspective. If it cant break big in the UK and Australia(her homecountry and her biggest market) then it aint gonna explode in other countries. Certainly not like Happy has!
Even in the US Happy has been no1 for 9 weeks on Billboard and dominated every category it qualifies in for months. It has very broad appeal to all age groups. Fancy certainly does not.

Idc if this is an old thread, Fancy deserves to be a hundred times bigger than Happy because the song is hundred times better than it. If not more; Happy is trash.
I can honestly see it going #1, yes. Its sales are amazing when you consider how relatively low its exposure is as far as promotion, airplay and streaming.

Its been out 7 weeks in Australia and has peaked at no17 so far. In the UK its 3 week chart run is 5-9-11. Its sales are weak and its not gaining any momentum to qualify as a smash. In her supposed biggest market. Meanwhile Happy has sold 1.3 million in the UK.
