I think his life in general was just awkward simply because he was transititioning into a sober lifestyle after battling an addiction for so long. It's a big adjustment you know?
elton is one of Ems sponsers, and he gave an interview a while ago saying how he told him that it was like entering a whole new world, that everything would look different, like youre seeing them for the first time. when you think about it like that, everything hes accomplished since 2008 is mind blowing

Yeah. I'm proud of him though. It really takes a lot of courage to, one, admit you have a problem and, two, do something about it and you can genuinely tell his sobriety means a lot to him and he's being very careful to protect it
does anyone else love dont front? i just love the beat and the sample so much, the flow is so weird and cool, and it was great hearing buckshot talk about watching him build the beat up all by himself in the studio. hes a really underrated producer. i always love when he spits over his own beats, they suit him so well. baby, brainless etc. i think that kind of old school new york fusion sound would be interesting for him to explore on future songs. it was something kinda different for him.
what makes me hopeful is that its the last song he recorded for mmlp2 (which is why it isnt on the album- it was finished after the deadline) so maybe thats the sound hes into now? fingers crossed. we get so little information and almost nothing from marshall himself. like not even his twitter or facebook page are actually him.

Yeah, it's really amazing how far he's come in all aspects of his life since then.
The king is so inspiring.

I feel like such a bad stan, I still haven't heard that song .
It's the COD bonus track right? I thought it wouldn't be any good since it's seems like such a throw away, but I'll go give it a listen.

most of his hardcore fans that i know LOVE it but most of the casual listeners i know thought it was weird so it depends on your taste i guess
@Eminem has racked up his 10th #VevoCertified video for "Berzerk!" Congrats, Em!

I would have switched Survival with Don't Front, in the Q&A on Facebook he said he wanted to put in the album.
Don't Front sound? Where is the next album, no Bad Meets Disappointment this time so hopefully will come soon-ish, next year?
btw the reviews counted in the score the bonus tracks? Because I found them amazing Groundhog day,Beautiful Pain >>>>
welcome 2 hell, the reunion, and take from me are great
fast lane is kinda a bop too, tbh.
i dont mind the EP.
and yes the bonus tracks are amazing. baby's flow is fantastic at points. i couldve taken out stronger than i was for beautiful pain, survival or dont front or groundhog day, etc. survival is alright but it doesnt really fit the album imo. it sounds like it wouldve fit in well on recovery though.
I love the BME EP. I didn't really like it much at first, but it's really grown on me.
Welcome 2 Hell, Fast Lane, The Reunion, A Kiss, Take From Me, Echo >>>>>>>>>>
The only song I don't use from the EP is Lighters, I don't know what either of them were thinking with that one
what i loved about BME was that it was promoted pretty well. at least to hardcore fans. i almost died when this happened. Royce is kind of a buzzkill here but Em is adorable and funny as usual
Why has that ever been a thing people think? People are gleaning whole personality profiles off magazine covers now? People also assume a lot of things about him based off some of his music, but they dont really get him imo. The whole point of songs like asshole is to say 'im purposely painting myself as the villain in my music and im not saying this is something to aspire too, the whole point is for me to act like an asshole when i rap'. I guess people dont get it because most artists tend to martyrize (? is that a word ?) themselves in their music, and make themselves sympathetic most of the time. Em is bold enough to not do that, instead to make himself the bad guy in his music, and i find that much more interesting tbh.
