To give you guys a bit of background on the case. It was alleged that Madonna's hit vogue Sampled Salsoul Orchestra's 'Chicago Bus Stop' this allegation was made after new technology was developed in 2012. The plagarism was apparently not noticeable to the naked ear and needed special equipment to pick it up. As we all know that notion was ridiclious and a federal judge agreed awarding Madonna and her team $670,000.
Other insteresting Madonna cases is the recent overturning of the "Frozen" Plagarism case.
Some time ago Madonna was sued by Belgian songwriter Salvatore Acquaviva claiming that her hit, “Frozen” (1998), plagiarized parts of his song, originally he had won his case however Madonna's legal team have recently
won on appeal.

And just for LOLZ
Joao Brasil once claimed that Madonna stole the chorus from his own song 'L.O.V.E. Banana (The chant in GMAYL) and sued her for it. Of course we know that (again) is ridiclious because you can't copyright a chant... anyways as expected he lost but then Madonna's label (whom gwen signed with) sued Joao Brasil - L.O.V.E banana vs Hollobck girl and
won!
You don't mess with the queen.
