Glitter in the Air has become so iconic!

It was covered on American Idol a few months ago as well. It's weird that it's more "remembered" than some of her big hits in the US.

LOL! It wasn't even released till after the performance. It never even HAD an official adds date. After the performance the song shot up iTunes and radio stations started playing it, so they added it as "Cool New Music" on All Access. It made it all the way to #8 on HAC due to that performance. You'd be delusional to think that performance had nothing to do with why this song became known and therefore used on Glee.

Maybe she really loved it before the Grammys. It's a great song, so I wouldn't be surprised.

I can understand though. He probably has no idea how a live performance can impact pop culture.

Yes, if there is one thing Lea is known for, it's "butchering" pop ballads.

I know I certainly dread having to understand the words and suffering the sounds of a beautiful voice. The one thing the popularity of Pink's "Glitter" does for me is explain why, if someone with the talent of a Streisand, Dion, or Houston, etc., etc., came along today, they would never become superstars.
