Side note: L Hill raps just as much as she sings. Anyone who owns the Fuggees and her solo debut knows that.
I happen to absolutely love The Miseducation of Lauryn Hill, but I hear her singing it in more than I hear her rapping. She's phenomenal at both, though.
Edit: Lauryn Hill doesn't count for me. She's a singer before a rapper.
Exactly. It's in no way discrediting her as a rapper, because she's better than most of the females nowadays, but she's 90% of the time always referred to as a singer before a rapper.
