I don't know..
I'm just pointing out that the only damage he has rn is caused by the fact he took this story to the media. But I definitely know defamation through email is punishable. She has had a special relationship with Keating (employer-employee) and because of that relationship the judge will most likely agree with Keating since many European legal systems provide extra protection for weaker parties like employees. IF the judge finds her emails to contain defamation that is... It's up to him/her what's more important in this case: freedom of speech or protection of one's honor and good name.
