Literally every Batman movie pre-Christian Bale sucked. As did Green Lantern, Daredevil, Catwoman, all of the Sam Raimi-era Spiderman movies..

Mess. His intro in The Avengers isn't meant to make him Indian. At the end of The Incredible Hulk Bruce flees so he can try to teach himself to keep his Hulk side under control. At the start of The Avengers he's in India because that's where he's ended up in his travels.
