I cant understand your sentence because of the censor, but honestly when was the last time you ever saw someone willingly choose to work the street corners and be happy about it? As far as I'm aware, most people (who weren't kidnapped and forced into it against their will) only go into that line of work because they have no other options they can think of. Add to that the fact that drug abuse and stuff usually comes into play when you're in that lifestyle, etc.

pop, saw the edit: I would say adult video industries have more safety and regulation than prostitution. For one thing, they require medical checkups and there's no such thing as a pimp for a working **** star (unless you count their agent )

I've personally chosen to "work street corners" and am perfectly happy. I'm not ashamed in any way about it. Why work retail and stress myself out for $7.25 an hour when I can "work" for an hour and make $250 for not even having sexual relationships with a person? ESPECIALLY when I am in college and can't dedicate 30+ hours a week to a "socially acceptable" job (and not even make as much as I would make in an hour with the type of work I do).
I'm not abusing any kind of drugs and test myself regularly along with being safe.

and for the record, I don't stand on street corners lol. I have ads that I pay for per month that are perfectly legal and that's how I get clients.

Just because you chose to ***** yourself out because you find it an easy alternative to getting a real job doesn't change the reality behind prostitution or the millions of people who are forced into it because of lack of choice.

Also, comparing yourself who is doing it for a few years while you're in college to someone who has been doing it for decades doesn't make sense. Unless you intend to make prostitution your long-term career path for the rest of your life, you're not exactly on the same playing field as the rest of the pros.
