technically Ariana is a better vocalist. whoever you stan for is irrelevant. when it comes to technique, Demi doesn't touch her. Demi has zero vocal control, technically speaking, no shade, and is almost always sharp.
Ariana has also already sung with a LEGEND, has Demi done it? Honestly curious because I am told she is very respected within the industry for her voice.

Oh and apparently all of you don't know a single thing about why she has been struggling so much with her consistency: 1. She has always had throat infections
2. She got her tonsils removed (surgery) due to the infection which obviously means she's learning ONCE AGAIN how to control her vocals.
Demi of course. That was a bad video chosen for various reasons all stated above (tonsils, throat inflections, etc...) I just can't stand Ariana's voice personally, its a little to high for me. I prefer someone with power and emotion.
Demi wasn't broadway trained like Ariana so yeah, her technique isn't as great but Ariana can only dream of having even nearly as much power and emotion as Demi does.
