And it would absolutely not be boring imo. I would much rather have a conversation with a stan of another base that is respectful and friendly than with a sarcastic bitch that can't even go a single comment without shading or firing cheap shots at other people's faves. Those are by far the WORST and most unnecessary members on ATRL.

I think everyone is getting sick of the same old threads. We put up with it hundreds of thousands of times, but it finally got old for everyone. Change is good. The stan wars will return when the next generation takes over top 40 with fanbases that aren't in unity.
Probably, he had some growth on his album Baptized. But he really isn't popular.
But you have bands like Fall Out Boy and The Veronicas. Rappers like J cole and Jay Z (who most people on here refer to as Beyonce's husband). Country artist like Luke Bryan. There could be a lot of different artist discussed and you would be able to branch out. Let the light in. There is more to music than just pop stars.

I understand your point of view, but Stanwars contribute a lot of activity and content to the community. For many, it makes this place exciting.
Stand Your Ground is the most active thread on this website because stan wars exist.

And this is great, and there are places for those artists. But we should assume that Pop artists will always be more popular than others on a Pop culture forum.
Every now and then I discover new music on ATRL, but I didn't come here to branch out as you instructed. If I'm into Pop music, that is simply what I'm into.
