I like this idea. It would increase the plays and buzz of lesser known artists who are featured on a song. If anything, they could add a "featured" section under "Top Tracks". Or add a little symbol (or reshade the line) of the featured track.

My last.fm tags are perpetually ****ed up by Spotify so this is, frankly, the least of my worries

This is why I use iTunes/last.fm scrobble app... Spotify is a pain in the ass.

I'd hardly call not giving her +1 scrobble withholding credit. When I scrobble an Ariana song, I want it to count towards her and her only. If I listen to Problem 50 times, I don't want Iggy to have 50 extra plays from her 10 seconds on the song. It just doesn't seem right. It's like eating a cookie and a crumb, then saying you ate two cookies.

You can see how many times you've played Problem, that's all that should matter to you.

Idk cos featured aren't always tagged the same. Sometimes it's '(feat.)', sometimes it's '(Featuring)', '(ft.)', '(Duet With)' etc.

I know what you mean. I just think if a featured artist helps then they should be able to get credit as well. It's all about exposure for both artist.

So i can easily click on iggy and see her material and vise versa.
