Those sales are awful, I know there was a lack of promo but Fancy was a top 5 hit, Work sold really well over here, Change Your Life went top 10 and she has huge backing from Radio 1. Artists debut's usually do well here to. I thought she'd atleast do 20k. Album sales are really in the pits right now.
Were you expecting more with the current sales climate over there being literally terrible? Not to mention she hasn't set foot in that country for months And it is the UK's #1 urban album this week!
That's why I said she can probably outpeak the current #5 position if she bothers to go there and promote for a bit on TV and stuff.
After three straight weeks above same week 2013 tallies, overall album sales took a dive last week, falling 17.42% week-on-week at 1,230,957. That's 3.01% below same week 2013 sales of 1,269,209, and the lowest since sales week ending 19 August 1995 (chart dated 26 August 1995) - 975 weeks ago - when just 1,214,941 albums were sold.

UK albums sales are just terrible
If it wasn't for albums artist Paolo Nutini, the #1 UK album this week would have sold like 11k, right?
And it is the UK's #1 urban album this week!
