OK I've just listened to her new song Problem. Speaking of problems I have a huge problem with her diction and pronunciation when singing. She slurs, muffles and combines her words to the point you can't even make out what the hell she is saying half the time. It's especially bad when she's screaming full pelt.

I know I'm not the only one who notices this as I've seen many comments before. But it seems to be worse than ever on this record. I would say this is where the Mariah comparison comes unstuck because she has far more clarity when singing.

So do you agree she has bad pronunciation?

I agree. I can't understand what she says most of the time but I still like the song though. I just need the lyric video.

she does but it's getting better. it took me MONTHS to figure out half of Put Your Hearts Up

Yeah, its kind of common with pop stars. It usually improves over time with vocal training. She's a great singer, she just needs to practice better singing techniques.

I understand 70% of what she says, so I'm not going to say it's "terrible" but there is room for improvement. Especially for songs where she's singing fast like Problem. In slower songs like Tattooed Heart and Honeymoon Avenue, she's fine.

First of all it's not screaming it's BELTING, but I guess we all can't stan for actual vocalists. Secondly, yes the good sis has a Problem with enunciation but let ha live !

I get what you're saying but this is a thing for a lot of singers. I don't think it's bad diction either, it could be the tempo of the song, breathing methods, etc.
