What was to be confused about? If you haven't read the books then you just go along with the HBO storyline... It was pretty simple, Bran got captured and the sacrificed baby got taken by a whitewalker and somehow transformed.

I liked it because as I had no idea what I was watching. I thought I was in the twilight zone. They made a lot of changes but they'll probably make sense later. Props to D&D for keeping everyone, even the book readers, on their toes.

Yeah that's definitely where they were. I think D&D are revealing stuff early to set up their endgame of seven seasons. Which is perfectly fine and they were gonna have to do it eventually, but I'm debating whether or not to keep watching if they're gonna start delving into things like this so early. Christ, I just realized Dany was in Mereen in ADWD. I might have to stop after this season. :\

I've not managed to watch the episode yet but from what I've read there's something about the WW and children... All I can say is that from what I remember in the books. that was definitely hinted at... unless it's something completely different that happened..

The fact that the tables have turned and now the show-watchers have the ability to possibly spoil the book-readers is absolutely hilarious though.

GRRM and HBO can stop this fiasco if they release book6 this fall
