Because sometimes the explicit version ruins the song. Good example is Lloyd's Dedication to my ex. In the explicit version he says p**** every few seconds but in the clean version he says loving. Much more pleasurable listen.
I hate clean albums
I've received clean versions of several albums for my birthday but I always went back to the store to trade it for an explicit one. So annoying
And children. I can understand when parents don't want to teach their kids curse words at an age where they might not fully understand what they mean and the impact some can have. Buying clean albums for pre-teen kids gets a pass.
Some people just don't like to hear curse words. I used to download some clean versions but it takes something out of the songs so now I download explicit, always
