It depends but in my experience it's mostly vulgar and unnecessary

I had a phase when I was 16 that I was always watching murder and torture vids
Also CP, "jailbait" and necrofilia, basically all kinds of nasty and illegal stuff

Still remember a video that a guy was
tied up to a chair and starts to get pierced with a screws driver all over his body and finally in the eyes

There are a lot of video from mexican drug killings that they cut people alive in to pieces with chainsaws

These stuffs are very strong, it get craved in to your brain forever
I still remenber a mexican video with a guy tied to a tree saying "no me mates, no me mates,..." and them they decapitate him, it probably the most desperate voice Ive ever heard, really deep sh*t, an actor could never reach such voice

When tastefully used yes, it looks awesome and it conveys a REAL imagery to a movie.

When abused, it's disgusting and overfilling.

In reality it's just a big, fat, huge, long, thick, NO!

I love gore when it's in horror movies and TV series but in real life no thanks

Not liking, but I see it now and then, and some are really interesting.

Mostly real gore though (accidents, murders, assaults, etc.). Not here for gore movies.
