There was no point that needed to be proven, tbh. Selling a digital album for 15 bucks is crazy, at best. Selling it for 7 bucks is quite ok and it showed that people are still here for Lady Gaga's album.
Digital albums are ridiculously overpriced. Charging the same as a CD when there's no physical production, storage distribution, store floor fees etc. costs. Record labels are so behind the times.
In ARTPOP's case, they should be discounting it for a good long while if they want to shift it.

Boomkack was such an ambitious woman and was taking so much power in Gaga's career for being just her choreographer. I believe she was fired for a reason.

Exactly, I've always said this. There's absolutely no reason why they should be so expensive. Permanently lowering the prices of all digital albums would boost album sales by a ton.
