Dope at the Youtube awards was horrific

What?

It's one of her best performances. Those aren't fake/blathering tears. She's literally crying and opening up her heart and soul for the entire world to see - literally hours after she fired the manager who made her who was as a brand. It's one of my favorites to watch, though a bit unsettling.

Dope's best vocal is Howard Stern.

DWUW's best vocal is Alan Carr, but best overall performance is the AMAs with Xtina one a close second.

Applause's best vocal is Music Station (Japan) but best overall performances is probably Jingle Bell Ball.

Best long set: Swinefest >> SXSW

Best non-single performance: ARTPOP on The Tonight Show.

Worst performance: Anything involving Rocket #9...

It was intentioned well, but came across badly tbh. It didn't work for the kind of venue that was the flop-tastic YouTube Awards, especially with the crowd cheering in parts that were meant to be silent.

I guess. I think recently it's become clear that Gags would rather perform ballads at award shows. She's always incorporated them into them.. but even if she was still doing Venus as a single, I have a feeling she still would have fought to perform Dope at the YouTube Awards. Seems like it is her most personal song.

But hey. Dope has a music video directed by Academy-award winning Spike Jonze. If only Do What U Want could have gotten a music video too.. c'mon Brandon. We're waiting.

I just don't get it. Like.. I get it is a camp masterwork and deserves a camp performance but she had those performances planned out ahead of time. Yet they were.. well.. I think we know how almost every single one of them were, aside from the performance at the artRAVE.
