Disclaimer: First of all, don't jump at me for this tthread, my main fave is and always has been Britney Spears. I'm just not a blind stan.

• It was rushed as hell.
• It was fully produced by will.i.am.
• It only has 10 "brand new" tracks, 13 if you count the deluxe version.
• Many of the songs were rushed as well and forcefully included in the main product.
• Britney only talks about Work Bitch, Perfume & Alien. Wonder why...
• Passenger, Tik Tik Boom, Body Ache, Chillin' With You, Brightest Morning Star, Til It's Gone, Now That I Found You, Hold On Tight = Myah vocals passing as Britney's vocals. Wheter is most of the song or just portions of it.
• They tried to cover the point above up by not mentioning Myah's vocal involvement in most of those songs in the credits, which doesn't mean she doesn't get her money anyway.
• Passenger, Body Ache & more songs were initially left out of the project and then re-added at last minute, hence why Britney didn't even finish to record vocals for them.
• It Should Be Easy was originally a will.i.am song recorded in 2012 for #willpower and originally titled as "Easy Feat. Britney Spears".
• Alien was ruined by will.i.am, the leaked version was supposed to be the final one as stated by William Orbit.
• will.i.am also ruined Perfume, "The Dreaming Mix" was the real deal but he decided not to release it as the main version.
• Hold On Tight was printed as "Hold On Tite" on the backcover of the first press of the album around the globe.
• The overall artwork is poorly designed, just take a look at the CD & backcover.
• Britney wasn't even concerned about the album at all, the Vegas residency was the most important thing to her as you can see in "I Am Britney Jean"

It was horrible, it showed no creative progress, it was an insult to her back catalogue and she didn't give one **** about it. I think it ticks all the boxes to be called a mistake.

Agreed. The fact that everyone dragged Femme Fatale when that came out, even though the album was strong overall. Little did they know what a disaster this would turn out to be in comparison.

I think, personally, the slapdash nature of the album is the worst. The typos, the Myah vocals being used to get the songs finished in time, it all just stinks of someone wanting to release the project, no matter what the negative impact of rushing would be.

I don't think the album itself was a mistake, but calling it "her most PERSONAL" was very stupid when it's full of songs like Body ache, tik tik boom, etc.
