Games and YTT have always been criminally underrated.
It's very unfortunate because both sections are very awesome... but they're also pretty different from all the other parts of the site, so I can understand why people would either hate or ignore them.
For me, I'm not in Music News (unless one of my faves has an album out) or Charts often. Videos as well, though I go in to scope out some viral + music videos. The rest I'm in a good deal of time - Games is basically my home and The Lounge I'm in a ton (mostly for Random Thoughts.) I host my own countdown so I'm in YTT frequently, too.

Your Top Ten is basically where you make a weekly or daily top 10, 20, etc. countdown and just share your taste. You have to be dedicated, though... like I host a top 20 one and update it weekly, and it takes some effort. But you get to control your thread and Do What U Want, so it's cool. I mean, this site was made after TRL so it's not like it's an irrelevant concept.
Games is a ton of stuff. There's album survivors where people vote off songs from an album every round to find out the best song. There's music chairs where people eliminate songs to find out the best #1 single or best song in the iTunes top 20. There are original long-term tournaments that people think of where you sign up and the host will throw a bunch of challenges at you until one person wins in the end. It's just a really awesome place and there's so much participation and all.
Both sections are actually very supportive and have a good little group that comments and participates in your threads. I definitely recommend looking into both.
