Gaga has grossed past 350 million and Katy like 60?
Poor Gaga
We were talking about singles do the same for singles only
Paul Abdul sold more with Forever Your Girl and Spellbound than Madonna's Like A Prayer and Erotica respectively. Numbers help but they won't guarantee you classic hits or relevancy in pop music.

The Fame (Monster) hasn't sold 16M. The mosnters really fooled yall into believing it has. The release of that album was so messy (multiple versions in different countries) it's impossible to know exactly how much it sold. My guess is it has sold 13-14M if you combine all versions.
So the only thing Katy has surpassed Gaga at would be domestic single sales?
Kinda the same way U.S.lor Swift is the most successful and superior to any of the pop girls

She has still sold more even if The Fame Monster sold only 10 million
