What are some of you thinking? This travesty of a video is "good" to you people?? Ugh, honestly I literally feel like crying over this piece of garbage because YOU JUST KNOW this is not going to get any play on BET, MTV, or anywhere else for that matter, thus the single will get little promotion because of it. This is just TOO low budget to get any type of TV recognition. I couldn’t even imagine any major station playing this, it looks more like a cheap promo video for the single itself, rather than an actual music video.

Of course it looks cheap, but that's because Khia had to pay for this video herself. She had no extra support from anyone. We are applauding her for doing her best with what she had to work with. I think this video is great considering the circumstances.

Exactly! There is just no valid excuse for this video, whatsoever. Many independent artists and/or their directors make good, decent quality music videos. This thing looks like a couple of high school students brought in a few cameras, took a few shots of Khia cleaning her house, then went back and edited it with Windows Movie Maker. And that just won’t cut it. Not on MTV, not on BET, not on any national TV music channels.

I would definitely love to see Khia as an MTV artist of the week, but in order for that to happen and in order for her popularity to increase, she needs to be accompanied by a hot video.

I honestly think, tho, that Khia needs to just abandon “Be Your Lady” and this video altogether and move on to the next single, with a professional director who’s gonna do her justice by creating a decent video for that next single. Be Your Lady was released 3 MONTHS AGO, and it STILL hasn’t made any type of dent on any of the charts. It’s played out, plain and simple. She needs to call it a day with this one and move on to something a bit more chart/radio friendly, something a bit more fresh.

I’m telling you right now, if Khia releases Steer as the next single and calls it “Steer: My Neck, My Back Part 2” and releases a banging video to go along with it, it’s going to work! Everybody remembers My Neck My Back and because Steer draws heavily on it, it’ll be instantly recognizable to the public. Even “Whistle On It” is extremely catchy and sexy and is sure to be a club banger.

“Geeked Up” is another option Khia needs to look at when it comes to a potential single. Many people have labelled her as a “wack ABC rapper” who has no skills, and that simply ain’t true. Anybody who’s listened to Geeked Up knows how hard she can go on a track. If she were to release it as a single, it would open up a lot of folks’ eyes and make them realize that Khia really can flow and does have a lot of skill the mic.
