I recall enjoying Maurice a lot, may be clouded judgement though since I loved the book and Hugh Grant is adorable in it.

I don't really like most LGBT films but some great films with LGBT characters in (the films themselves aren't centred around homosexuality) are the Perks of Being a Wallflower and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist

Shelter is also a pretty good LGBT film that doesn't fall into the category of being ridiculously depressing or annoyingly camp.

G.B.F is a great comedy and Prayers for Bobby as mentioned before is really good. Also the documentary Bridegroom if you want to cry for days.

White Frog was pretty good. The main character isn't gay, but his brother was.

But I'm A Cheerleader is fantastic. Actually about lesbians, but it does feature some gay males.

and I cant stand movies like Another Gay movie , Eating out series

It's was atrocious. It seemed confused as to what it wanted to be. It wasn't funny enough to be satire and didn't have enough substance to be a commentary on gay youth.

I didn't watch the entirety of GBF..I turned it off after like 10 minutes
