I don't really like most LGBT films but some great films with LGBT characters in (the films themselves aren't centred around homosexuality) are the Perks of Being a Wallflower and Nick and Norah's Infinite Playlist
G.B.F is a great comedy and Prayers for Bobby as mentioned before is really good. Also the documentary Bridegroom if you want to cry for days.

It's was atrocious. It seemed confused as to what it wanted to be. It wasn't funny enough to be satire and didn't have enough substance to be a commentary on gay youth.
