Sparks is on tour with Alicia Keys despite a brief respite because of some vocal problems. At a recent Southern California show, she sounded just fine, and she says Keys is the kind of performer she aspires to be.

"It's exciting to be on tour with someone I admire so much. She's a great singer, a great writer and performer. That's what I want to turn into. I'm definitely going to write more for my next record and show a lot of growth. After all, I'm still really young, you know?"

Since her crowning moment, Jordin has enjoyed a top 10 album and two top 10 singles, including “No Air,” her smash duet with Chris Brown, who was “awesome” to work with. And Rihanna better watch out because it “wasn’t very hard to act like I was in love with him.”

“He was really cool and very cute,” Jordin says. “It was very easy actually. It was a lot of fun.”

The two had such a blast that they’re thinking of working together again. “We were actually talking about maybe writing something together and doing future collaborations,” she says. “I don't know when we're going to have time to do that.”

ASCAP and Jordin have both confirmed that Jordin and Ludacris Protege Steph Jones have recorded a song by the name of "Pull Over" together. There has been some talk that this song might make the new album.

"Right now, I have a song with Madonna that I didn't put on her album. I saved [it] in case I wanna do one for me," he revealed. "Of course I'mma do one with Beyoncé. Of course I'mma do one with Jordin Sparks, Rihanna. It's a lot of people. I'mma do one with Jonas Brothers. I'mma try to have 10 major ones."

Can't wait. This is gonna be hotter than her first album!
She shouldn't record with Chris Brown, though, it's too soon. It wouldn't be a hit.

My favorite song by her is "Shy Boy". Now let her keep doing **** like that

I like Shy Boy and Young and In Love. She needs to work with Bloodshy and Avant again to create a hot first single for this new project. Gah, I'm excited.

Already a new album?

She begins recording in September. Jive will release "Freeze" during fall/winter to round off the era w/ 4 hit singles, 1 million albums in U.S, and 1 mill WW. Then she will probably take a break, release the 2nd album, and begin promo again. In between, Jordin is scheduled to appear on Timbalands Shock Value 2.

One thing I can say is this era has been VERY organized and done right.
