She's always been vocal about where she's from tho, rappers do that mostly when talking/rapping about their hood. You can imagine how her "hood" felt when they heard one of their own went Queen Latifah instead of Olivia Newton-John.
He deserved it tho. Successful Australians like Kylie Minogue are also criticised for making it big in Europe and "forgetting where they came from" all the time in my country. So annoying
