Tupac is dead now so his one-sided 20 year old comments about her hold absolutely no weight or relevance in 2014. Janet sung about sex prior to Erotica. If you knew her catalog you would know that. Her choosing to devulve more into sex had nothing to do with Madonna. Janet's insecurities prevented her from showing skin and talking about sex in depth. Once she became more comfortable with her body she took it a step forward. That was a personal thing for her, not an attempt to keep up with Madonna. And you are truly pathetic to bring up Janet's 1993 comments about Madonna as if that isn't a dry topic. And to clarify, Madonna said she didn't know anyone she knows which was a complete lie considering she dated her brother 2 years prior and acted like a groupie back in 1984 backstage st her brother's Victory tour. If you're trying to imply Janet is a hypocrite than so is Madonna. Didn't she say in 2012 that showing boobs isn't interesting or cutting-edge, yet just a few months later flashed her boob in concert? I like Madonna, but you and many of her fans reflect her personality in many ways. Bitter and rude.

Madonna sung about sex before Erotica too. The difference is that Erotica wasnt really that sexual as the title or the vid suggested, but it was her most sensual and sexual album. Janet called it classless and then went on to do her own most sensual album with sex as a main theme, just like Erotica. Im not implying that Janet was influenced by Erotica, but to criticize something you do too is hypocritical. This applies to both of them.
And believe it or not, I dont think Pac or his interviews are irrelevant, his music and legacy are important not only to me and it hit me hard when I learned about what Janet said to him (because I always liked Janet). It comes off even more bitter when you consider that his relationship with M could have been the reason why she said that. It was cruel if you ask me, and it shows a lot about Janets character and "class". Catfights are common thing among pop stars, but one should know where to stop.
