Rihanna-(all her videos kinda bore me(except disturbia), but shes full of hits)
Madonna-(video was kinda cool, big fan base)
Britney-(not amazing, but good, she has a big fan base so she has a good chance)
Mariah-(kinda goofy-big fan base)
Leona-(although the US version kinda sucked, she's HUGE this year)
Jordin-(our lil american idol darling!)

Madonna - 4 Minutes
Leona Lewis - Bleeding Love
Rihanna - Don't Stop The Music
Jordin Sparks - No Air

Bubling Under:

Alicia Keys - No One
Rihanna - Take a Bow (Unfortunately Rihanna will get nominated no matter what)

Britney won't get it


Leona, Rihanna, Madonna and Mariah are for sure. The other one will be lucky. Or some random nobody that will win over the former 4. Ashley Tisdale perhaps.

She won't WIN, but I think she has a very good chance on being nominated.

Britney, Jordin, Leona, Mariah, Rihanna are the obvious choices.

Jordin is not that obvious to me you know, she's not that much of a video star...I wouldn't be surprised if she's not nominated.

No Air is the first video on the list, so I'm sure that helps. And plus (Chris Brown is in it.) So I'm sure the **** has a chance. Leona is a video star either, btw.

Good question. We obviously decide the noms, but I hope a panel decides the winner. Fans get stupid sometimes.

I believe fans choose the noms and the MTV decides the winner.

Those are my picks this year.

It will be interesting to see her if she has any luck with US awards, because she will always get snubbed in the UK. The Brits is a prime example, but I think I can say this on behalf of Leona fans So really I'm not fussed if she wins awards, obv. it would nice if she got recognition and did win, but even she herself has stated she is just happy to be nominated for awards, so what more could the fans ask for

I didn't even realize this was the 25th edition of the VMAs. And they're on a studio lot with no true stage.

This is gonna suck hard, isn't it.

As far as BEST FEMALE MUSIC VIDEO goes these 3 would be shoo-ins...:

- Ashanti, "The Way That I Love You"
- Erykah Badu, "Honey"
- Bjork, "Wanderlust"

No Air wasn't that great of a video....or song. Of the 5 people are focusing their attention on, IMO only Leona deserves to win the most.
