Is anyone else applying for scholarships right now?
What scholarships have you received? For those older people, what should we apply for?
I have a scholarship to the college i'm going too, it's a minimum of $2700, and another scholarship that is worth $750. I need $400 more to get my tuition paid for...
Where did you get those scholarships, if you dont mind me asking? Im an international student and getting scholarships if you're going to college in the US is a BITCH!
I mean, 4.0 GPA and 2300 SAT but nope, most scholarships are "Available to US residents only"!
I got a scholarship that covers my tuition for 4 years. It's from the Posse Foundation. Keep in mind this scholarship is only for those in certain cities and can only be used for certain schools. The nomination process is beginning soon for high school juniors.
Look into it, it might change your life. Sure did change mine.
Also there's the Gates Millennium Scholarship that covers all costs of any college. There's Questbridge that covers the cost of attendance for partner schools. There's many scholarships, you just have to search for them.
There are many scholarships for undergrad, but you guys need to start applying before March. That is when most of the scholarships go out. Also, there are many scholarships specifically for minorities. My sister didn't receive any scholarships from school, but she got enough scholarships from outside sources to go free.
