Lost will be rebooted in the future, former showrunner Carlton Cuse has claimed.
Cuse told Entertainment Weekly that while he and his writing team "made no contingency for a sequel or a spinoff", he expects Lost to eventually return in some form.
But the whole premise of Lost was the suspense and mystery of what is going on on the island. If we already know what the island is all about, what's gonna happen?
And I don't want recasts. I doubt Evangeline will come back though
